Sharnam Info operates and provides the Surti Swaad platform. Our registered business address, website and contact numbers are printed once, at the foot of this page.

2. Information we collect

Business and account information:

• Restaurant or business name
• Owner or manager name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Business or restaurant address
• GSTIN and related tax information
• Account and login information
• Information relating to authorised employees and staff

Restaurant and menu information: menu items, product names and descriptions, prices, categories, restaurant configuration, order-related information, and anything else needed to run the restaurant management system. Customer information: customer name, phone number, address, order history, billing information, and invoice and transaction records. Order and billing information: orders, bills and invoices, order history, product and item details, order totals, transaction records and restaurant sales information. We do not collect or store payment-card information through Surti Swaad unless a particular service or feature says otherwise.

3. What we do not currently collect

Given what Surti Swaad does today, this policy does not state that we collect GPS or location information, device identifiers, IP addresses as a user-profile category, or photographs you upload as a personal-data category. If the services change and we begin collecting further categories of information, this policy will be updated.

5. Marketing and promotional communications

We may contact users by email, WhatsApp, SMS and other permitted channels. Those messages may include product announcements, new features, service updates, promotional offers, discounts, subscription offers and other information about Surti Swaad and Sharnam Info. You can ask us to stop sending promotional messages, or use any unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism provided. Essential service messages — about your account, security, billing or operations — may still be sent where they are needed to provide the services.

9. Ownership and control of data

Information collected and stored through Surti Swaad is owned and controlled by Sharnam Info, subject to applicable laws and to the rights of the individuals whose personal information it includes. Sharnam Info may use, process, store, maintain and manage that information to operate, maintain, support, improve, secure and lawfully administer Surti Swaad. Nothing in this section removes any right an individual has under applicable law regarding their personal information.

10. Sharing of information

Sharnam Info does not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Hosting and infrastructure: Surti Swaad data may be hosted or processed using Bluehost and related infrastructure services, whose providers may access information only as far as needed to provide hosting, storage, security or related technical services. Government and legal authorities: we may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with the law, respond to valid legal process, comply with enforceable governmental requests, investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents or unlawful activity, or protect the rights, property or safety of Sharnam Info, our users or others.

11. Third-party services and integrations

Surti Swaad may use third-party services for analytics, website functionality, hosting, communication and other operational purposes. These currently include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta / Facebook Pixel and Bluehost. Swiggy and Zomato integrations are planned for the future and are not live today. If they are introduced, the data sharing and processing involved will be governed by the relevant service terms, the integration itself and applicable privacy requirements, and this policy may be updated to reflect them.

12. Payment information

Subscription payments are currently handled manually. Our team may contact you about a subscription payment and provide a QR code to pay. Surti Swaad does not currently use a third-party payment gateway such as Razorpay or Stripe for subscription payments. Please follow the payment instructions given through official Surti Swaad or Sharnam Info channels.

13. Data security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction:

• Username and password authentication
• Role-based access controls
• HTTPS/SSL encryption
• Database access restrictions
• Regular database backups
• Password encryption and hashing
• Server and firewall security

No method of electronic transmission, storage or internet-based service can be guaranteed completely secure. You should also take reasonable care to protect your account and login credentials.

Surti Swaad information is hosted using Bluehost infrastructure. We take reasonable measures to protect stored information and to restrict access to authorised personnel and systems. Information may be processed or stored in locations determined by our infrastructure and service providers, subject to applicable legal requirements.

16. Data retention and account cancellation

We keep information for as long as it is needed to operate the services and for the other legitimate purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable law. When a customer cancels their Surti Swaad account or subscription, the associated data is deleted immediately, except for anything we are legally required to keep — for example to satisfy legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution obligations.

19. Third-party websites and services

Surti Swaad may link to third-party websites, services or platforms, which have their own privacy policies and terms of use. Sharnam Info is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content or policies of third-party websites or services outside our control.

20. Children's privacy

Surti Swaad is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly set out to collect personal information from anyone under 18 for the purpose of creating an independent Surti Swaad account. If we become aware that we hold personal information from someone under 18 where collecting it was not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to address it and delete the information where appropriate and legally required.

When you contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or another channel, we may keep a record of that communication in order to answer you, provide support, resolve technical problems, handle privacy requests, maintain proper business records and improve our services.

This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim or matter arising out of or relating to this policy, or to the use of Surti Swaad, is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Surat, Gujarat, India, subject to applicable law.
